That might have something to do with Pamela Anderson and the Baywatch crew standing in attendance, but the WCW Bash At The Beach 95′ had more than just a few pretty faces. It was the scene of a feud between Nature Boy Ric Flair, Vader, Hulk Hogan and Macho Man Randy Savage that was so popular, it made it onto prime time TV!
Hogan and Savage joined the cast of Baywatch to save the Venice Boys Youth Center from the nefarious developer Ric Flair and his croney Vader. After leaving professional wrestling, Flair found a way to get under the Hulkster’s skin by attacking his old stomping grounds and threatening to shut the whole gym down so condos could take their place. Obviously, Hogan and Savage weren’t going to let that happen without a fight.
Macho Man faced off against Nature Boy in a first ever ‘Lifeguard Fight’, beating Flair so Hogan could take the stage against Vader in an unsanctioned cage match. The nearly 500 pound Vader put Hulk through his paces, but whatcha’ gonna do when a screaming beach full of Hulkamaniacs runs wild brother?
