Some of you Hulkamaniacs probably remember the days of the World Wrestling Federation; when Hulkamania was brand new to the world alongside a posse of big, bad and burly dudes with larger than life personalities. Brother if only you could have been there and experienced the madness as Vince and the whole WWF stable built something so incredible from such a humble beginning.

Part of the fun in the WWF was exploring new ways to promote professional wrestling to the world, and luckily there were a few ideas knocking around up top that got the attention the promotion was looking for. Outside of the ring, Koko B Ware and a handful of the WWF’s biggest names got together and took over a construction site to shoot one of the music videos for the WWF’s Piledriver: The Wrestling Album II.

Featuring the Hall of Famer Arnold Skaaland as the foreman on the clock, the iconic piece wrestling history sees Jimmy Hart, Honky Tonk Man, Billy Jack Haynes, The Hulkster, Koko B Ware and of course, his bird friend Frankie, join forces with a few familiar faces on the ‘job’. That is, as long as you count covering Skaaland in wet concrete a ‘job’! Hey brother, somebody had to do it…

There might not have been any Grammy Awards that year, but the WWF made sure the album, which featured the voices of close to a dozen professional wrestlers, was heard. The vinyl release is still a hot commodity in the modern wrestling world, and most of the tracks became the anthems for the wrestlers that recorded them.
